About me:

“I’m George Manning, the photographer behind GManningMedia.

My love for photography started when I was 14 and my best mate gave me an interested in photographing birds. Over time that interest grew into a passion and now I’m building it into my career. I studied a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography at Exeter College, where I built my skills across styles and techniques. I worked on projects that pushed my imagination and taught me how to see the world through a camera’s lens.

During my time at college and in my work I’ve had the chance to photograph different things. I’ve taken pictures of wildlife from harvest mice to squirrels and hares and I’ve shot sports events, including Chesterton’s Polo in the Park, matches for Exeter City, Exeter Chiefs and Yeovil Town for PPAUK.

These experiences have shaped me as a photographer. They’ve helped me grow both technically and creatively. I’ve learned how to work in environments adapt quickly and stay focused no matter the situation.

I use Sony cameras and rely on Lightroom and Photoshop to edit my images. I always aim to keep the result natural and true to the moment. I don’t want to over-edit. I want the photos to feel real and honest.

No matter what I’m shooting. A business, a sports event, a family pet or a quiet moment, in the wild. I bring the focus to every job. My goal is always the same: to create pictures that tell a story and leave a lasting impression.

GManningMedia is where all of this comes together. It’s my way of sharing photography that's personal, professional and made to be remembered.”
